Make it Monday

Once again it is Make it Monday. The days seem to be flying by!

So I decided to make use of Vistaprint's (uk site) offers on T-shirts, car magnets, a cup, pen, bumper sticker, note cards and a bag. I decided to try to spread the (raw) vegan message through the products on this site.

I actually became a little addicted, hence the variety of products I made/bought.

Today I am promoting Vistaprint (because I love it not because I am getting anything from them for it) and encouraging you to Make it, be it a t-shirt (that says Vegan!) or a cup that promotes eating lots of fruit and veg, perhaps you want to make a pen so that when someone asks to borrow one you pass it to them and you plant a seed (most of these items I am listing are free and you only have to pay postage).

I am not sure if "Go fruit yourself" is copyrighted, but this is just for personal use and I do not intend to sell anything with it on so I hope that is OK!!

This is a T-shirt I actually wore to my new gym today!
Oh and I got the image on the internet, and the text says
"Eat the rainbow and you will shine like one" from a member off 30BAD
"Fuelled by fruit"

This is the car magnet. I drive around with it on my car.
I was at the wholesale fruit and veg market about to embark on an adventure to the UK Raw Vegan event in August and a woman in her car reversed to look at the sign, she saw me skipping out of the toilet and asked what my business is. I said I don't have a business, I just eat lots of fruit and she said "well you look so happy! I was going to ask if you'd start delivering fruit to my shop (she is a florist) for the staff to eat!" I felt even happier then!!

We can upload our own images, or simply use the ones that they provide on the site, it is super simple and we should all take advantage of this to promote a healthy way of life. Spread the word, plant the seed, it only takes one person to start a chain (that's what I'm doing!)

Sweaty Saturday

Welcome to Sweaty Saturday!

Unfortunately today has been a Stuff my face with Shit Saturday out of laziness.

That being said, there's always YouTube to watch for a source of inspiration for exercise when it is too cold outside. My favourite guy to watch is Mike Chang and his Six Pack Shortcuts videos.

I chose this video as it features a woman and I guess that can appeal to both men and women! Mike's videos are awesome to watch because he has his shirt off most of the time and I sure know how to appreciate it!

So...train hard but sensibly, do not over do it as it is far better to hit your limit than to face weeks off with an injury.

REMEMBER...looking good is 80% diet 20% exercise so make sure you are fuelled on the best sources - fruit and vegetables!

Wishful Wednesday

Welcome to Wishful Wednesday!

Today I am wishing for ripe fruit 24/7.

Packing bananas in the hand luggage going to Turkey! We got asked at security "don't Turkey have bananas?" Well yes, they do but if we didn't take these with us they'd go to waste (plus they're expensive in Turkey compared to UK)
I pretty much self sabotaged my raw streak because I didn't properly plan my food supplies, a mistake that caused me two days of stomach pains and a horrible feeling in my throat.

I am so glad my bananas are ripe enough to eat. People question whether I get fed up eating bananas (I eat around 30 a day). When I first started I was so sick of bananas I didn't eat them for weeks but I cannot even go one day without them now, they are my everything.

Due to my mistake I now wish for ripe fruit to be available to me any time of day, whenever I need it.

I am writing this from my acting class so I will edit it tomorrow. (Edited)

Tasty Tuesday

It's Tasty Tuesday, so are you ready for some grub?

I am on and off raw food due to self sabotage usually by means of not keeping a cupboard full of ripe fruit or by convincing myself that I should eat something cooked if it is too cold, so instead of going for vegan junk food like hummus, pizzas, etc here is a video that shows the best options for high carb low fat meals.

It is presented by Freelee the banana girl and stars Princess Raw Fruits Neet. Two amazing women on one amazing video.

Ultimately I am aiming for 100% raw but sometimes we all just need a fall back and this is it.

Now go to the kitchen and make some high carb low fat tasty VEGAN food :) protect the animals and have regular poos!

Make it Monday

Happy Make it Monday!

I am into arts and crafts and today I dedicate the post to this area of my life.

A few years ago I made a sock monkey, which is pretty much self explanatory - a monkey made from a pair of socks!

I love my sock monkey, firstly as I made it and secondly because it is polka dot :)

My sock monkey likes to hang around on my shoulder whilst I take selfies. If you'd like to make your own sock monkey you can do so by following this link.

I plan to make a fruity sock monkey that will join me on my travels, I just need to find some fruity socks first!!

Join me tomorrow for a tasty recipe.

Sweaty Saturday

Welcome to Sweaty Saturday!

I hope you get your sweat on, or have already had your sweat on today!

Today I took my camera out with me for a run and I am treating you to seeing me get a sweat on with some images and videos of where I live.

I feel like I have achieved so much today, I ran 8km and I normally run 3km, I kept going when my blisters started to irritate me and I also carried on despite my shin pains - I just hope I haven't damaged anything. I took it easy, mixing the running with some walking and I stopped to take photographs along the way.

I hope you take the time to watch my video, it's less than 4 minutes! It won't enhance your life in anyway but I hope you still watch it because it's me :)

Edit: I realise now that I made a spelling mistake and that really bothers me, it should say "furthest" in the video!

Well check back for Sexy Sunday, I still haven't decided what to treat you to!

Much love
